Tirupati Tirumala Temple, also known as Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. It is a highly revered and ancient temple located in the town of Tirumala, near Tirupati in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

It is advisable to plan in advance and obtain the necessary Dharsan Tickets to avoid long waiting times.

    The temple is famous for its laddu. It is a sweet offering made of flour, sugar, ghee, and other ingredients. Devotees can purchase and partake in this prasadam as a divine blessing from Lord Venkateswara. The laddus are considered highly auspicious and are distributed in different sizes.

     The temple celebrates various festivals with great devotion and grandeur. The annual Brahmotsavam, held for nine days in September or October, is the most significant festival. During these, it is better to have a tour planned. Other major festivals include Vaikunta Ekadasi, Rathotsavam (Chariot Festival), and the Kalyanotsavam (celestial wedding).

One Day Chennai to Tirupati temple

  One Day Chennai to Tirupati tour Like most people, I always wanted to go To Tirupati from Chennai, but I didn't have the privilege to go. But a good friend of mine recommended the  Raj Brothers Travels  who planned everything for me.  At midnight of 1.00 am, I boarded their vehicle. about 3 hours of travelling. we reached the foothills of Alipiri, the base of Tirumala mountain.  After a little chat with the guide and drivers with plenty of warm tea beverages. we rushed to the Special Dharsan gate as our timing of entry is around 6.00 am.
