Kalahasti Temple, officially known as Sri Kalahasteeswara Swamy Temple. It is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in the town of Srikalahasti in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

     The main deity of the temple is Lord Kalahasteeswara, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The name "Kalahasti" is derived from the legend that Lord Shiva saved a spider (Sri) and a serpent (Kala) from a serpent's curse at this location.

These temples collectively signify the cosmic elements.
